*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: UI Developer Location: Olympia, WA Duration: 18 months Direct Client Position Client: State of WA Note: Need 2 reference We are looking for senior and/or expert-level User Interface Developer(s) to perform User Interface (UI) Development and Design, for Web-based user interface features and functionality on new projects for L&I’s customer-facing systems. Work will include maintaining and troubleshooting Web-based user interface features and functionality of multiple online existing customer facing systems. These online products save time for L&I’s customers and staff by making it easy for customers to do business with L&I. REQUIRED User Interface (UI) Development Technical Skill/Experience SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – Five (5) years or more in the following under “EXPERT”. Or EXPERT - MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – Eight (8) years or more in the following: Expert knowledge and experience working on *UI using JavaScript;* Expert knowledge and experience working on UI using AJAX; Expert knowledge and experience working on *UI using JSON;* Working knowledge and experience with *RESTful API;* Expert knowledge and experience working on UI using CSS; Knowledge and experience working on UI using *CSS Pre-processing (SASS, LESS);* Expert knowledge and experience using HTML; Expert knowledge and experience using JQuery libraries; Expert knowledge and experience using *JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, Angular, React);* Knowledge and experience using *IDEs & Editors (MS Visual Studio, Sublime Text, Atom);* Knowledge and experience designing or converting UI into a responsive layout; Knowledge and experience creating cross-browser compatible UI; Knowledge and experience with *User Centered Design (UCD) methodology and practices;* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written, visual and oral formats with project teams, internal and external business and technical representatives, and executive management; Ability to write clear actionable UI documentation; Contractor must be located on site and be able to work team compatible hours; Experience working in a team environment; Experience as a technical lead, coaching and mentoring junior UI developers. DESIRED User Interface Development (UI) Skills/Experience SENIOR -DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – Five (5) years or more in the following under “EXPERT”.
