*Job Description: *

*Technical/Functional Skills :*

•             Minimum 7 years of industry experience in BO REPORTS design
and development using Business Objects.

•             Must have full lifecycle project experience as a developer in
designing and developing Business Objects mappings.

•             Experience in SAP Business Objects Administration.

•             Experience with SAP Business Objects Tool Suite (Designer,
Desktop Intelligence, Web Intelligence, Infoview/Launchpad, Import Wizard,
Crystal Reports, Xcelsius, Promotion Management/Life Cycle



*Manager/Upgrade Management Tool)* :

•             Good understanding of Oracle Database SQL and PL/SQL
concepts, standards and best practices

•             Design and development of BO REPORTS solutions to load Data
Warehouse/Data Marts is preferred.

•             Hands-on experience with a ETL tool like Informatica preferred



*Roles & Responsibilities* :

•             Capture new BO REPORTS requirements or changed requirements
and estimate the level of effort to implement enhancements

•             Create or Modify universes as per the design.

•             Develop/Modify the  BO REPORTS, manage BO REPORTS development
activities from inception to completion including interdependencies with
other teams

•             Analyze requirements and formulate an appropriate technical
solution that meets functional and non-functional requirements;

•             Take an active role in the cross-functional design and
coordinate with offshore team throughout

•             Work closely and foster strong relationships with data
architecture team, database administration and data consumers (e.g.,
reporting and interfaces teams) to design warehouse/BI data structures

•             Design and Develop the Informatica mappings, PL/SQL routines
and unix shell scripts as per requirements.

•             Assist in the design of the BO REPORTS solution; review the
BO REPORTS low-level design and design phase deliverables;

•             Manage the build phase and quality-assure the code to ensure
that it meets requirements and adheres to standards; resolve difficult
design and build issues; troubleshoot bugs

•             Modify and Develop procedures/mappings to implement business
logic, transformations and aggregations

•             Plan and execute Quality Assurance testing with the QA team
and resolve QA defects

•             Plan and manage QA and Production releases and ensure they
are deployed smoothly

•             Configuration and Administration of Business Objects Server
Components and Services

•             Security Management - Administration of Business Objects Users

•             Installation, Upgrade and configuration of Business Objects

Technical/Functional Skills

• Minimum of 7 years as a key designer for user interfaces with portfolio
examples

• Minimum 3 years developing interactive prototypes in Axure

• Minimum of 3 years in a technical mentorship role for junior UX designers

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience designing for mobile applications.
Responsive design is beneficial.

• Ability to communicate, demonstrate and prioritize the value of UX design
decisions to key project stakeholders.

• Ability to explain and get buy-in on abstract design concepts and design
rationale, both verbally and visually.

• Knowledgeable in a range of qualitative and quantitative user research
methodologies and able to use related

findings to drive improvements in product design

• Experience working in an Agile product development environment

• An understanding of the relationship between business requirements,
engineering requirements and the user experience discipline

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
