*Title: EMC Storage Consultant* *Location: Jacksonville FL* *Length: 6+ months* ** *EMC SAN Storage – 6 month+ * Provide systems administration and support for large scale enterprise storage environment. Primary focus will be “day to day” management of storage infrastructure, including storage provisioning, SAN management, and performance tuning using EMC storage hardware and associated administration tools. Provide on call support and disaster recovery planning/support as required. Unix, Windows: Familiarity with Red Hat Linux and IBM AIX, ESX VMware and Windows Server: Perform basic system administration and installation and maintenance of storage software. (High) Experience administering EMC Symmetrix, EMC Clariion, EMC Centera, EMC Celerra storage arrays. Knowledge and experience utilizing performance tools to analyze and diagnose issues. (High) Cisco\Brocade directors and switches, FICON, Fiber channel, ISCSI and FCOE protocols (High) NAS administration with emphasis on CIFS (Med) Mainframe: z/OS management of storage systems including SMS and non-SMS DASD and HSM. Understanding of mainframe catalog structure and recovery. (Med) NetBackup, Falconstor VTL and SIR. (Med) Understand the concepts of interpretive and compiled languages. Able to write simple programs in at least one scripting language. (Med) Experience administering most of the following: Virtual Provisioning, NPIV, EMC PowerPath, EMC Navisphere, EMC Unisphere, EMC Navianalyzer, EMC Unisphere Analyzer, EMC SPA, EMC Performance Manager, EMC SRDF/BCV, EMC RecoverPoint, DNS, NFS, ISPF, SDSF, DFSMS, DFHSM, DFDSS, CA/VANTAGE, CA/ALLOCATE, PPRC, EXHPDM, CA1, HSC. CA/VANTAGE GUI, CMDCE, and EMC Control Center . (Medium) Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
