Sr SAP Project Manager Mounds View, MN 24+ Month Contract *upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test* PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will implement product versioning for the purposes of robust, compliant, system-driven distribution control changes and is required as part of Covidien integration. Leveraging these capabilities will also provide tangible business benefit for legacy Medtronic (LMDT) activities – a separate, subsequent project. KEY REQUIREMENTS: -SAP App Dev Knowledge -Strong leader to stay on task -Strong organizational skills -Excellent communications both verbal and written -Collaborative style cross the organization PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identify and manage overall project scope across several interrelated projects o Prepare impact analysis against scope, schedules and budget o Identify, review and present all Change Requests to governance groups o Keeps current on advances in the field of IT o Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team • Ensure quality of all program and project outcomes, deliverables and products o Comply with all Corporate policies, Standards, Procedures and Processes • Create, maintain and report Business Case and Benefits Realization Plan • Provides guidance about work activities to colleagues • Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results • Create, maintain and report against a cross project schedule and resource management plan o Liaise with key Stakeholders and implementation resource groups to ensure alignment of priorities • Liaison: Frequent interaction with internal or external contacts at various organizational levels concerning on-going operation or changes relating to processes or programs.
