You will be involved in data modeling for an expanding data warehouse. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Sound knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and processes. Hands on Oracle Warehouse Builder experience Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and proficiency in creating PLSQL packages Unix Shell scripting Strong conceptual, analytical skills and decision-making skills Excellent written and oral communication skills 3 Years for ETL experience using Oracle Warehouse Builder ETL tools. 5 years of Data Warehouse Experience. Desired Skills: Oracle Database Certifications, DBA Administration experience in a 24 X 7 environment Oracle Performance Tuning Experience 5 years ETL experience using popular tools with at least one OWB project. Familiar with highly available database solutions / architectures in Oracle 9i or 10g Familiar with database layouts on high performance disk subsystems Familiar with backup and recovery operations and procedures. Familiar with trouble shooting bottle necks in database. Detect offending sql and recommend changes. General SQL tuning. Familiar in monitoring and emergency on call procedures and escalations. Familiar on Reporting using Business Objects.
