IT Business Analyst, SAP Mounds View, MN 12-18 Month Contract *upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test* *Note:The client would prefer local candidates…or at least candidates that have worked in MN before. * Candidates need: • SAP experience in sales and distribution (SD), warehouse mgt, supply chain. • Senior level BA skills • UAT experience • Desired, XPS experience (tool that sits on top of SAP) This position is responsible for successful implementation of SAP configuration, enhancements, and processes, specifically supporting SAP distribution and transportation processes along with the Global Freight Management Solution (GFMS) and Dangerous Goods Information System (DGIS). Candidates must have had configuration experience in SAP ECC and be able to elicit requirements, work directly with partners from operations and compliance, and to translate those requirements into business solutions. Individuals will also be required to align processes across business units/geographies, to develop solutions to complex problems, to communicate with numerous functional areas, and to lead process development and improvement activities. The position location is open but will be required to be located at a Medtronic facility within U.S. Travel requirements are 25% but could be more during key project milestones (e.g. go live). POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, develop, and implement new concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the distribution operations, from receipt of product from manufacturers through distribution to customers. • Work independently with end-users and business partners to drive the assessment of business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide them to the applicable processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve customers and business goals. • Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels. • Manage the expectations of the customer (i.e. balance their needs with wants and educate as appropriate). • Able to effectively negotiate with others to reach a shared understanding or agreement • Able to solve difficult and complex problems that may not be understood, facilitate and own required/ detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: • Bachelor’s Degree YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: • 10 years of IT experience with a Bachelors • 8 years of IT experience with Masters SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE: • Experience with SAP ECC configuration, implementations, and integrations.
