We have an immediate requirement for an Essbase Consultant as follows: Start Date - ASAP Duration - 6 months + Location - San Mateo and San Francisco, CA Experience: --------------------- 1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Installation, Configure and Setup of Essbase instances (Dev, Test, Production) 2. Comprehensive experience in creation of Essbase applications, Essbase cubes including Analytic outlines, dimension build rules, data load rules, Workflows, user security, Calculation Scripts and Reports 3. Expertise in developing Essbase applications involving BSO/ASO, Essbase Studio, SmartView, Administrative Services, LCM. 4. Experience in implementing Hyperion systems and/or experience as a Hyperion Systems Administrator 5. Skilled in administering, automation, optimization and performance tuning of Essbase application data/metadata processing, upgrading, testing and migrating of cubes in different environments. 6. Strong with Hyperion versions 9.x and 11.x Other skills: -------------------- 1. Self-starter with high motivation to succeed 2. Team player with strong results orientation 3. Knowledge of financial accounting processes 4. Ability to model and quickly perform "what-if" scenarios using Essbase 5. Ability to provide guidance with best practices on Essbase Implementation 6. Must have designed and built at least 3 Essbase applications 7. Experience with complex MaxL scripting, calc scripts & business rules, ASO/BSO partitioning, MDX, DATAEXPORT, Smartview reports, Report scripts, Load rules, etc based on requirements Nice to have: ------------------- 1. Hyperion Certified Professional for Essbase and/or Planning 2.
