*Responsibilities: *Install, analyze, and configure operating system and/or database products to achieve optimal system performance. Develop and maintain applications and databases used by the Database group. Provide "on-call" rotation support. *Requirements:* A minimum of 7-8 years' experience as a Sybase Database Administrator in a multi-node Solaris environment with the ability todiagnose and troubleshoot database and system problems. Extensive knowledge of SYBASE ASE15, Replication Server15 and Sybase IQ15/16 systems and administration practices. Should have experience inperformance and tuning, trouble shooting performance issues. Experience in Oracle11g database systems and administration practices will be great but not compulsory. Working knowledge of Microsoft's SQL Server2008R2 and SQL2012 will be a big advantage. Experience in PERL, Korn Shell and T-SQL languages is required .
