*Long Term contract opportunity!! **J Client is looking for a Sr DevOps Security Engineer to sit in their Philadelphia, PA. Contract is thru Dec 2017 but will be ongoing! Thank you!!* *Sr Dev Security Ops role **J* *Notes: * - *Candidate should have a developer background or at minimum experience working closely with development teams.* - *Phone screen first. Then face to face for locals. Skype for non-locals* - *Any static code analysis product is fine.* - *For language requirements, this is just a sample of the languages used in the environment. There are plenty more not listed. Candidates need to be able to recognize code vulnerabilities regardless of the language. Need to be able to read and understand code. Not necessarily develop an app full lifecycle.* - *This is an application security engineer position not an information security or analyst position.* It appears that the majority of submissions are focused on Info sec analyst rather than an app security engineer. We are looking for a developer with security background that understands secure coding techniques and can partner with development teams to explain security findings and methods of remediation. *Senior DevSecOps (application security) consultant* *Responsibilities:* - Configure and operate static code analysis products, such as Synopsys Coverity, IBM AppScan Source, Veracode SAST and Checkmarx - Work closely with development teams to understand and address code analysis results - Assist development teams in acquiring necessary background knowledge to avoid writing vulnerabilities into their code - Hands on train teams on application security and remediation of application security code findings as well the use of source code analysis tools - Collaborate with teams and vendors to continue to enhance source code analysis tools and configuration - Ensure that source code finding and remediation is integrated into the developer toolchains and processes *Requirements* - BE/BS in Computer Science or equivalent - Strong programming/scripting background with extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux and windows - Languages experience: Java and/or C++, Objective-C, Python, Perl, iOS, Android Java - Experience with Static analysis and software quality improvements - Strong ability to problem solve Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
