We are looking for an Android developer with at least 2 years
experience to be responsible for the development and maintenance of our
application. The primary focus will be application development and
integration with backend services. The job will require working with
business stakeholders, interpreting requirements, problem solving, and
designing elegant solutions.
*Main Objective: *
Develop new features, which provide business value and
enhance the user experience.
*Responsibilities:*
- Design, develop, and deliver features based on business requirements
- Work alongside a team of developers and stakeholders
- Participate in sprint planning and grooming meetings
- Adhere to industry best practices
- Create and maintain unit tests
*Skills:*
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
- Experience working on an agile development team
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best
practices
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem
- Experience with TDD, or testing in general
- Ability to do performance testing and tuning
