*Job Title: Data Admin Analyst * *Location: Mahwah, NJ * *Duration: 6 Months* *Explanation for Position:* The Senior Data Modeler in the Business Intelligence Repositories interacts with functional representatives, business analysts, database administrators, data architects, and Application Development project teams to develop dimensional data models for ad-hoc reporting of Business Intelligence data. His/her sets the direction and functionally leads the integration analysis of new data into the related BI application subject area. Must demonstrate an understanding of applications’ transformation of data into business information and the manner in which information supports and enables key business processes across multiple applications. Works independently on one or more highly-complex data models and design documents. Primary Deliverables are a Functional Design document and an attendant source-to-target data & processing rule mapping of the integrated data. The Functional Design identifies, at a high level, the technical components that must be expanded upon during Detailed Design. *Details of Position:* Reviews, Clarifies, Impacts, & Sizes Business Requirements for Functional Design Analysis; Creates/Updates Dimensional Model of impacted subject area; Helps determine and records Application Processing Rules and other Design Decision information; Produces Functional Design artifact and obtains approval/sign-off from initiative stakeholders; Provides technical leadership and mentoring to team members; Drives consistent standards for data analysis tools and techniques; Drives process improvements based on industry best practices to improve productivity and efficiency. Researches & Creates Standardized Data Elements for registration in Corporate Metadata Repository tool; Monitors team member activities to ensure tasks are completed within established deadlines and to rectify issues and remove roadblocks.
