Role: SAP BW and BOBJ Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 6+ months Rate: Market The Business Reporting and Analytics team is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Enterprise SAP Business Objects Technical developer. The candidate needs to have design build experience using SAP Business Objects Enterprise Tools on top of SAP BW and relational databases while following guidelines and best practices as outlined by governance team. *Responsibilities include*: • Create designs (technical and functional) for Crystal, Webi reports • Create designs (technical and functional) for Xcelsius dashboards • Ability to deliver on complex Universes and advanced reports • Ability to think out of the box and provide different solutions to the solution owner • Adhere to processes and standards for SAP Business Objects • Build Crystal and Webi reports from technical designs. • Design and build Universes over existing SAP BW and non-SAP databases. • Document all design build activities. • Design modifications to existing queries as part of query analysis and performance tuning. • Ability to work with a diverse and integrated team consisting of application developers, business users and business analysts • Conduct Testing (Unit, Functional, Integration, User Acceptance) • Responsible for assisting with immediate production issues • Report status on a ongoing basis. • Ability to multi task • Work in a team as well as individually • Identify and escalate issues to Team Lead in a timely manner. *Required Experience * • Six years experience utilizing Business Objects with focused development experience utilizing Webi, Crystal and Xcelsius • BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology or related experience • Strong technical skills, conceptual vision and ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to others. • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions • Ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple priorities and stretch goals to deliver on the business objectives of the company • Strong organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be comfortable client interfacing Desired Experience • Business Objects Integration with SAP • SAP BW Backend experience. • High level database design expertise in major Relational Data Management Systems (e.g. oracle, SQL Server, DB2) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
