Serve as an administrator in a global Informatica support team

Support multiple version Informatica environments for the client.

Monitor the Informatica environments and suggest improvements for stability
& performance tuning.

 Implementation of platform patches and upgrades

Migrate new applications and upgrades to existing applications between
Informatica environments

Maintain all change management documentation to support Informatica
environments that must support  FDA data qualification and SOX compliance
standards



*Primary qualifications*



• 4-6 yrs of experience Informatica experience

• An experienced admin with demonstrated admin management skills in a shared
services environment

• INFORMATICA ADMINISTRATOR CERTIFIED on 8.x is an absolute requirement.

• Experience in setting up & configuring enterprise Informatica
Implementation with Powercenter 8.X (8.6 and further preferable) on Unix and
Oracle 10g and greater.

• Experience in monitoring the environments and suggesting improvements for
stability & performance tuning.

• Experience with Enterprise HA & Grid (v8x).

• Experience in working with Informatica Corp for product issues, licensing
and understanding product roadmaps

• Experience in maintaining security through effective management of
users/groups and OS Profiles

• Experience with PowerCenter

• Experience in Implementation of patches and upgrades

• Resolve moderate to complex business issues, identify alternatives,
determine impact and recommend optimal configuration solutions

• Experience in the implementation of maintenance activities like Powerdowns
/ Reboots etc.

• Understand the need for BCP, have knowledge of DR requirements and perform
DR tests

• Provide technical expertise and leadership to resolve complex Informatica
infrastructure issues.

• Experience in handling Incident and Change Management requests through
service desk

• Experience in coordinating with internal clients / storage /Unix / DBA /
NOC teams to resolve issues

• Coordinate and offshore support and development teams

• Develop complex test plans, which include regression testing and packaging
tests into consecutive steps based on logical dependencies; write, revise
and verify functional test plans for complex systems in a software
application.

• Evaluate and test moderately complex to complex new/modified programs,
applications and/or operating systems; monitor system functionality and
performance to ensure standards are met; document and track product defects
and coordinate problem resolution with development and/pr product vendors
