Role: SQL 2005 Developer Location: Menomonee Falls, WI Duration: 11 months Rate: $45-50/hr C2C * * *Project: SQL 2000 to SQL2005 upgrade and Windows 2003 upgrade: *Focus on work related to a DB upgrade to SQL 2005 and a Windows upgrade to Windows 2003. Our infrastructure team will do the upgrades, this resource will need to be able to convert or translate existing DTS packages to SSIS. The applications are currently running on the same server as the DB and part of this project is to move the applications to new servers. This position will also include upgrading other DBs and applications to SQL 2005 and Windows 2003. Many of the applications that need to be moved are written in VB and may need to be modified or enhanced due to the upgrades.
