The candidate should have very good knowledge in PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle database development including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. The candidate must have more than 5+ years of development experience in Oracle forms and reports. The candidate should have good UNIX experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Duties and responsibilities • Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects. • Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. • Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implements are understood by all parties. • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects • Develop Oracle forms and reports • Develop database procedures and packages • Develop UNIX shell scripts. • Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PLSQL tuning methodologies. Required skills • BS or MS in Computer science or related area • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle forms and reports • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle database, SQL/Pl-SQL • Solid background with UNIX system.
