Role -: Business Analyst - SharePoint location -: New York City Duration -: 6+ months Pay: up to $55-60/hr (c2c) Job Purpose/ Description: • Defines the SharePoint solution based on user requirements. • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Workflow. • Focus on technology issues of medium to high complexity. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Map complex user requirement to Out of the Box SharePoint functionality - avoiding custom code where possible. • Define user requirements and create User Requirements Documentation. • Influences direction of SharePoint features widely available in the enterprise. • Champions, defines, leverages, and implements processes to define and institutionalize architecture and standards in coordination with the TIAA-CREF SharePoint Center of Excellence. • Works with SPCOE to develop technology prototype efforts and pilot deployments. Required education/experience: • Extensive experience, including project management, application development, infrastructure selection and support, and systems technology analysis. • Gaining approval and communication of technology architecture solutions and directions. • The ideal candidate will have In-depth knowledge of real estate investment business, but not required. • Capable of defining IT Architecture measures and metrics in terms of value added. • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2010 required. Must be able to define workflow and administer a farm. • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Visio required. • Should be able to define a function in Excel and use Visio for data modeling. Other Comments: Many candidates will have SharePoint experience. We are not looking for people who have used SharePoint, but defined solutions.
