Duration: 1+ yrs. (Long term) Rate: $40-$45 (DOE) Business Systems Analyst works with business partners across multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. The primary goal of the Sr. Business Systems Analyst is to formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and broad knowledge and understanding of applicable systems and industry requirements. This position devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems.. Business Systems Analyst analyzes business systems processes and translates requirements to functional requirements of moderate to high complexity. This position is responsible for the collection, analysis, design and documentation of business and functional requirements. This position further requires updates to the application user and installation manuals which are maintained in MS WORD. *Business Systems Analyst must have the following*: - Advanced knowledge of different business implications of the application of technology to the current - Possess excellent business analyst core competency skills - Be able to define and develop business and functional requirements, understand and evaluate business processes in order to define and develop the appropriate functional design for their implementation -Provide mentoring for junior level BA staff members - Experience utilizing MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) are required. Knowledge and work experience utilizing BPMN, XML and iRise are preferred. Bachelor's degree in technical area or technical training equivalent.
