*Title of Position:* COBOL Developer *Duration: *ONE YR LONG CONTRACT (could go to 2 yrs) *Location:* IL *Rate:* $40 all Inc *JOB DESCRIPTION* Duties/Objectives/Deliverables: o Maintain and support complex mainframe IMS/DB2 COBOL systems - both batch and online o Maintain and support mainframe EASYTRIEVE PLUS programs o Create JCL and Procedures to run jobs o Analyze programs and system interfaces for policy changes o Debug complex IMS and DB2 programs o Create complex multi-platform conversions o Manage unloads of IMS to DB2 to SQL 2005 o Maintain all mainframe legacy file feeds to Data Warehouse, to SACWIS, and to other applications o Create ad hoc reports as needed o Analyze user support tickets and resolve critical system problems *Required Skills**:* Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years recent experience with the following business skills: Application Development (SDLC); Business Analysis; Functional Design/ Prototyping; Technical Design; and Data Modeling.
