Position: Java Lead Duration: 6 months extendable Location: San Francisco, CA *Job Description:* 7-10 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web experience Description: * Leads the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms. * Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including *Java, spring, JSP, Web Services, JMS, Weblogic App server, Tomcat App server, XML*, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. * Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Technical leader ship on Java and affiliated tools * Mentoring team * Tracking the current trends in technology and service applications. *Java, spring, JSP, JMS* *Few clarifications about the requirement: * 1. This is a team lead role. The coding part is only 10-15% of the profile. 2. Mostly the tasks involve coordination, interacting with the business and multiple technical teams. 3. Guiding offshore teams on developing the solutions. 4. Be hands-on as and when required , during the length of the project. 5. Must have understanding of various design patterns and technologies associated around that. 6. Core skills we are looking at are: *Core Java, Struts and good working knowledge of spring*.
