Duration: 15 months



We are looking for consultants who can assist our customer with migrating a
large set of applications from WAS 6 to WAS 7. They should have a developer
mindset and good knowledge of EJB, JNDI, etc. More than just familiarity.
They should have recent RAD experience and have developed 1000's of lines of
WebSphere code. They need to be very proficient at debugging WAS code and
the use of WAS tracing. The duration of the engagement can be up to 15
months. All the work will be onsite in Owings Mills, MD. We can pay no more
than $55-60/hr all inclusive.

*WAS v7 Migration Skills** *

WAS developer v7 (primary)
RAD 7.5+
Java EE 5
Java SE 6
Migration experience
problem determination skills
WAS tracing
EJB skills
JNDI skills
Servlet creation
Knowledge of common 3rd party libraries such as Struts, Hibernate, Spring,
and iBatis is a plus

*Additional note: we have wasted a lot of interview time talking to
candidates who don't have each of the required skills. They really need the
full set to be accepted by the customer. If a candidate is missing something
from the list, please note it at submission time, it will be uncovered
during the interview process.

Once the customer has interviewed and accepted a candidate, we will expect a
2 week onboarding process.*
