Role -: SAP Logistics Business Analyst
Location -: Rhode Island, NY
Duration -: 6+ Months
Rates -: Market
Experience required
· SAP Logistics configuration and specifications development experience.
Main configuration areas include Delivery and Shipment Processing, 3rd party
warehouse interfacing, SAP Warehouse Management, and all Logistics related
outputs.
· Subset of functionality currently deployed that needs to be supported
and enhanced based on incoming production support tickets and enhancement
requests
o 3rd Party warehouse interfaces
o Delivery Outputs (VICS BOL, Packing List, Delivery Notes, Picking List,
Proformas)
o Label Output (Pallet/Carton handling unit packing information and
standards)
o Customs Documentation and Global applications/requirements (Europe,
South America, Canada, Asia)
o EDI ASN related output files and integration
o Small package interfaces (Nexxio, DHL, etc)
o Carrier Freight Management interfaces and applications (CASS for
example)
o WM Radio Frequency devices and SAP integration
· Future functionality to be deployed
o Transportation Management Systems
Responsibilities:
· Pick up help desk support tickets on a daily basis and provide
production support in areas listed above.
· Analyze client requests and design solutions based on stated
requirements.
· Lead configuration and testing efforts of production support tickets as
well as assigned enhancement projects
· Write programming specifications and work directly with abap resources
to fulfill programming requirements
· Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best
meet the needs of the business requirements
· Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation
impacted by programming changes.
· Participate in off-shift system support as assigned
