Location : Chevy Chase, MD Face to Face interview must Job Description: *Job Desc: * Looking for Java Developers that will be responsible for coding, debugging, testing, and documenting programs as well as reviewing and analyzing program requirements to determine the approach required for modifying existing programs and documentation. Additional responsibilities will include performing analysis and programming of high complexity for multiple systems. *A typical day may include:* Design & program changes and enhancements. Troubleshoot production problems, help identify root cause and complete fixes. Participate in the analysis, design, coding, unit testing and implementation of assigned projects. Provide on-call production support on a rotating schedule. Provide technical documentation. Plan the development and delivery of project deliverables across multiple departments. Prepare a definition of the problem together with recommendation for the technical and application architecture changes. Communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences. *Job Requirements: * Required: -Very important that the Java Developer have an understanding of and experience with relational database concepts and use of SQL queries. -Must also have experience with open source frameworks (JSF/Spring/Hibernate/JPA). -Qualified candidates will have extensive experience working in a large-scale, mission-critical multiplatform environment such as Windows and UNIX / Linux. -Proven experience in Perforce, JBOSS, Linux, scripting, familiar with a typical J2EE environment and MQ knowledge. A minimum of three years of development experience in large scale multiplatform environment. Must be able to learn various third party tools. Supporting various test and production environments is also part of the job.
