Oracle PL/SQL Developer/Analyst Location: Near Boston MA Duration: 6+ months contract
Keys to the Job: Most of the time the consultant will be responsible for Oracle PL/SQL development which includes performance tuning and analytical functions. The Manager is also looking for the candidate to have some Java and Datastage experience. The Manager has a strong preference with candidates that have at least 1 of these. - Expert PL/SQL developer on UNIX - at least 7 years of experience - Must have at least 3 years of financial services experience - This is a MUST - Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Candidates with some Java will be given preference - This is a big + - Analytical Functions exp - 5+ years is a must - Client currently uses the 11g database, this is desired but not required. Must have at least 10G - Must know UNIX very well, will be required to write some scripts including Perl - Must be able to debug data issues.
