Job Description:
You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting as
well as security, setting up team sites, and anything else that relates to
MS Sharepoint for this organization. They are looking for someone with at
least 12 months of experience with Sharepoint Portal Server and or Windows
Sharepoint Services.
Requirements:
1. Must have 12 months of experience with implementing SharePoint
Portal Server in an Enterprise environment
2. Must have previous exp acting as a Sharepoint (SPS)
administrator –{Managing Content} as well as level 2/3 support - handle
frontline questions
· Strong plus if has pervious exp in SPS training
(mainly focused on SPS content admins)
3. Must be able to do 80% of the following job related skills:
· Proactively manage, monitor and administer SharePoint
Portal Server
· Customize and refine SharePoint Portal Server to meet
business requirements and extend advanced SharePoint functionality
throughout the enterprise
· Add, maintain and customize web parts
· Configuration and layout of sub-areas and sites
· Maintain backups and security
· Develop and implement policies to maintain a strong
SharePoint infrastructure
· Document SharePoint administration practices and
policies
· Provide assistance to support technicians to help
resolve user problems
4. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator.
6. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support
of this project.
