Role -: Senior BI Architect
location -: in Wilmington, DE
Rates -: 1+ years
Experience : 11+ years (With a cumulative experience of 7+ years
in BI implementations)
BI Products : MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos,
QlikView, Any Advanced Visualization tools (Hands on experience in at least 2
BI tools)
Domain Skills : LifeSciences domain experience is good to have
Other Must have skills :
· Strong in Data Modeling
· Basic knowledge on Data Integration
(Abinitio/Informatica/Datastage/any other ETL tool)
· Good understanding on ANSI SQL and Database Concepts
(Traditional databases(Oracle/SQL Server/Any other),
Appliance(netezza/Teradata/any other), Column based DWH(SybaseIQ/Vertica/Any
other)
· Capable of developing architecture and solution blueprints for BI
applications
· Ability to review the designs against the requirements and provide
feedback to implementation teams
· Ability to develop architecture guidelines and principles for the
organizational BI needs
· Strong communication skills
Responsibilities :
· Develop and publish roadmap of project specific solution services
based on emerging frameworks and technologies to recommend the best solutions.
· Provide technical leadership during the implementation of projects
providing inputs on Business Intelligence
· Maintain awareness of existing or potential customer
software/hardware situations and their mapping to functionality and solutions.
· Support Project Managers and Release Managers in the environment and
capacity planning at various phases of the project life cycle.
· Guide project teams on technical, architectural and implementation
design documents.
· Actively work to educate others on potential problems and
resolutions. Responsible for sharing information and best practices across
teams.
