We have a great position for one of our client. *Please reply to [email protected]* * * *Good Rate, Get a Perfect match, we can close this.* *Direct client** **Tech Mahindra’s Requirement* *Wireless Design Engineer II* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 6months+* Coordinate and lead the testing and deployment of client services from a laboratory perspective to include writing and execution of test plans, Integration reports, and hand-off for implementations. Coordinate with Network Engineering, Security, Architecture, IT, Quality Assurance, and operational organizations for the timely resolution of LAB and production issues. Specific development tasks include all aspects of wireless communications primarily pertaining to the SMS, MMS, WAP and value added services such as: Voicemail, Directory Assistance, and Voice to Text. Performs evaluation testing on all hardware and software components in a LAB environment for new product offerings, network growth and/or customer-specific applications. Plans, designs, and tests complex voice and data networks including individual components and interoperability of multiple network elements. May perform operational efficiency reviews and develop plans for improvements as necessary. Conducts strategic network assessments based upon emerging network trends, technologies, and/or future service offerings and develops plans to address needs. Limited travel required. 1-Conducts extensive lab evaluations and integration testing of network elements to include formal documentation of results: Designs, Test Case Creation, Integration Reports, and Test Reports. 2-Provide testing and quality assurance guidelines and hands-on lab assistance to other engineering and operations personnel. 3-Formulates integrated SMS, MMS, and WAP network architectures based upon demand, capacity, emerging network services, trends, and technologies. 4-Provides detailed engineering support and technical consultation to operations, design engineers, and deployment teams. 5-Serves as subject matter expert and support point of contact for wireless SMS, MMS, and WAP. 6-Strong ability to coordinate multiple events in a fluid working environment. Training / Experience - BSEE degree or equivalent preferred and/or 5-7 years technical experience in the wireless industry. Technical experience a must with InterOp SMS, MMS, SMTPGW, InterCarrier Gateway, OTASP, and WAP platforms. Understanding of legacy and next generation wireless networks required; experience testing with CDMA, LTE, VoIP, SS7, and SIP based architectures along with applicable call flows required Experience in the use of diverse test equipment and test plan automation required for SMS, MMS, WAP. Computer skills to include, but not limited to, MicroSoft Office Suite, Visio, Linux, CentOS, and Oracle. Certification may be required in some areas.
