There should really be an difference in going to 11. - *Complexity of the scripts that need updating* - The scripts are being driven by Excel. The main QTP script has two lines, that just make calls to Excel. The Excel files have three parameters. One is for the Keyword(Function) being called, the Object being referenced, and the Input data that is being used in the scripts. Most of the maintenance work in getting the existing scripts working is around updating the Objects (New properties, etc) for going to the new version of the RPM application 13.1 to 13.2. There also is some data updating that needs to happen. - *QTP script source control *- There is no Source Control at this time. All scripts are stored in a Shared Folder. No Quality Center either. - *Are scripts used for day to day testing or regression testing* - Regression Testing - *How is the object repository constructed* - Object Repository is a Shared Object Repository File - *Number of scripts that need updating *- There are approximately 400 test cases that have automation scripts. One automation script covers about two or three of the test cases, so a total of about 150 QTP scripts. 43 of them have been updated so far.
