*Position: **Performance Tuner* *Location: Palo Alto, CA* *Duration: **4-6 Months* *Rate: **Market*** *Description/Skills*: Need Skilled Consultant with past experiences in Application Performance Diagnosis using one or more Industry-leading tools (HP, VMware, CompuWare, Precise, Fluke, etc). Resource should be able to use Tools for Application Performance Diagnosis, and construct Application Topology Maps to examine areas of high latency, high hit-rates, and bottleneck sectors in the overall Application Architecture across various Environments. Resource should be able to work with Application Developers & Architects in providing suggestions, input, and strong reasoning in how to Performance-tune the Application in preparation for Production Readiness, and also be able to collaborate with the Infrastructure Engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve Environment-related issues causing Application Performance degradation.
