Java Developer (Front End) Eagan, MN 6 months to start. Will extend indefintely. Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree Experience, Knowledge and Skills: - 5+ years of object oriented design and development experiences in Java and web technologies including Java 5 (and above), XML, JSON, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, Eclipse, Websphere, Tomcat - Experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring MVC and ideally Spring Security - 5+ years experience with relational databases such as MSSQL Server or Oracle - Knowledge and use of unit testing applications such as JUnit and EasyMock - Experience using commercial ecommerce packages and supporting technologies like Endeca - Experience with agile development processes - Experience with multi-tier application design and development and knowledge of design patterns - Experience using and creating web services in both SOAP and REST with XML and JSON - Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills - Strong problem solving, analysis, design, and testing skills - Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment The E-Commerce technology team works on cutting-edge Java technologies to provide eCommerce solutions for the Professional and Markets division of Client. The incumbent will participate within a motivated team to deliver full front to back solutions for the business. Development responsibilities will include the design and development of solutions at all levels of the architectural stack. The candidate must show that they can deliver solutions within an agile development process that focuses on short iterations and high-quality code.
