Title: Kronos Technical Architect

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Required Skills:

 

.         Must have 6-8 years of Hands on experience on Kronos Workforce
Central v5.0, v6.1(Time and Attendance module), Oracle 10g 

.         Experience with development of Kronos Payroll integration
interface like PeopleSoft/SAP, ADP/Ceridian.

.         Installation, Troubleshooting/support of Kronos application
servers/database connectivity,

.         DCM(Data Collection Manager), WIM(Workforce Integration
Manager)/Kronos Connect

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:        

 

.         Resource experienced in Kronos server, application, and database
support.  Full working knowledge of technologies surrounding the Kronos 5.0
and 6.1 applications required.  

.         Work with implementation team to provide necessary support to
install and upgrade the Kronos Solution as well as all strategic modules. 

.         Work with the support team to pick up and resolve technical based
incidents in a timely manner while working with users in the field to meet
agreed upon SLAs.  Resource to work in multiple customer systems for
tracking incidents, maintenance items, enhancements, and projects.

.         Perform work with a SDLC methodology mindset, and drive process
standardizations. Resource will be responsible for change management for the
Kronos application including documenting and timing changes, deployment
instructions, back out plans, and contingency plans.

.         Resources will have to be able to communicate clearly and be able
to demonstrate technical excellence with all required configuration
requirements to ensure Kronos is running smoothly on supported platforms. 

.         Resources will work closely with Project Managers understanding
goals required to complete required tasks on time and budget. 

.         Resources will be required to work in fairly complex technology
environments requiring a multi-product solution (SAP HR, Time & Attendance,
and Ceridian Payroll, for example), as well as product integration, and/or
custom solutions. 

.         The resource must display a technical understanding of Operating
Systems, networking technologies, software applications and communication
protocols. Devices including Kronos 4500 clocks, routers, switches, and
firewalls. 

.         The resource will demonstrate advanced experience working with
Oracle SQL relational database systems. Strong knowledge of SQL scripting
and experience with client/server and/or web based technologies (http,
https, html, xml, Jrun, JBoss). 

Ability to document complex technical cases and communicate requirements
both verbally and in writing.
