Title: PeopleSoft DBA with Oracle 10g Experience
Duration: 3 Months
Location: OHIO

*Can be remote after initial ramp-up
NOT Oracle DBA, Must have outstanding communication skills*

Coordinate creation of a new Oracle/PeopleSoft 10g database to meet project
deliverables, implement the new database applying knowledge of database
management systems and PeopleSoft PIA.    Responsible for planning,
coordinating and rollout of new database to consultants and employees on
tight timeline. Responsible for applying fixes and code drops to meet
project testing cycles    following database creation. Assistance with data
conversion efforts required and database/application tuning direction as
needed. Typically has an Bachelors degree with previous experience in
Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials implementations.

Education/Experience  o Associates degree in computer programming or
relevant field required. Bachelor degree preferred  o 10-12 years
experience required

Skills  o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills,
customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)  o Strong ability to
work independently and manage one*s time (Required)    o Strong leadership
necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
(Required)  o Strong knowledge of  SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*DBA, PL/SQL, UNIX
Shell Programming, Oracle   Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Oracle Express
Analyzer and Administrator, PERL, PeopleTools, Oracle 10g,  PeopleSoft
Financials 9.0 applications familiarity, etc  o Strong knowledge of
Operating   Systems, such as Redhat Linux 4-5.6, DOS, Windows NT * 2008,
Windows 7  Strong knowledge of Web Servers, such as WebLogic, Websphere,
Microsoft IIS.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:  o Direct Oracle DBA's to make
changes to existing databases and database management systems  o Direct
others in coding logical and physical database   descriptions  o Review
project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost
required to accomplish project  o Review and approve database development
and determine   project scope and limitations  o Approve, schedule, plan
and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements
to computer systems  o Plan, coordinate, and implement   security measures
to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or
unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure
