*C++ Developer * *Location: New York, NY* *Long Term* *Main Duties :* Technical Analyst (10%) Create and document unit testing strategy for new development work Solve issues raised during User Acceptance Testing and Impact Analysis. Software Developer (90%) Design solution and detail in technical documentation Implement solution and demonstrate unit tests are passed. Assist tester in preparation of functional test cases Assist team in all phases of the project from development to production release - this includes supporting execution of Functional Tests, Regression Tests and UAT Work with the management team in improving the Software Development Lifecycle *Person Requirements * * * *Skills Required :* Ability to understand complex IT systems Confident C++ developer with good working knowledge of *STL and remote debugging * Good familiarity with Windows architecture and design/programming aspects Experience of *code design* Experience with *multi-threading and COM * Experience of *multi-stream* development Working knowledge of* SQL server * Experience of source control systems Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Strong problem solving skills and an inquisitive/questioning mind Good communication with both technical staff and non-technical staff *Skills Preferred : * Monte Carlo techniques and calibration Good understanding of Credit Risk methodology.
