Data Warehouse Architect Duration: 18 months Location: Arlington, VA Data Warehouse architecture and design. Design and develop dimensional data models (star schemas). ETL architecture and design Develop detail-level ETL design Develop ETL processes using Oracle PL/SQL Design change data capture, ETL failover mechanism, recovery, and exception handling. Conduct analysis of ETL processes and suggest improvements. Work with client technical representatives to validate requirements and design decisions. Work with internal teams, communicating design plans and monitoring implementation. At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering complex, large-volume data warehouses and business intelligence systems. Experience designing, implementing and deploying data marts using Kimball methodology Extensive experience in dimensional data modeling. Extensive experience in ETL design, development, and architecture. Excellent skills in Oracle PL/SQL. Excellent database skills and solid understanding of database technologies.
