Only GC, US Citizens are required. Job Description: Background Information:* One position is to work for Treasury’s High Priority Projects. The World Bank Treasury (“Treasury”, TRE) is the Vice Presidency performing treasury functions for the IBRD and for other members of the World Bank Group. Its activities are organized and grouped along three segments: asset management, banking and debt management, and capital markets services. Second position is for Controllers team that maintains Accounting, Lending Rate and MTM (mark-to-market) functionalities for the Liability part of the Summit system. We are designing/developing a frame work for storing accounting , lending rate and MTM (mark-to-market) information and providing the reports to Controllers team. The specific assignment is to develop Oracle Based applications to help with the analytical work. General Accountability: The candidate would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality. Scope of Work •Develop Oracle based applications. •Maintain and enhance current applications. •Recommend solutions that can be implemented, after review by team. •Make changes to code, perform unit testing, and assist the business team in user acceptance testing, adhering to all change management policies and procedures. •Responsible for ERD (Entity-Relationship-Diagrams) and technical documentation. Skill Set Requirements: •6-8 years of relevant experience as an Oracle developer. •Strong development skills in Oracle 10g. •Experience with developing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions and other database objects .Exposure to tools like PL/SQL Developer, TOAD •Exposure to Business objects / Crystal Reports or any reporting tool is a plus. •Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts is a plus .
