*Need only locals or who can go for an F2F at the client location.* *Description: * *Knowledge & Skills:* - Advanced knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Solaris, Linux-Redhat & Suse) - Advanced knowledge of Clustering, load balancing, SAN, and High Availability technologies. - Overall Technology expert in Engineering, will likely be Architect or designer for application syst Installation and configuration of Solaris on Fujitsu/Sun servers, AIX LPARs on IBM p Series servers, VIO servers, HMC administration, and RedHat & Suse on HP servers. - Performance Monitoring & Tuning; troubleshooting all system related issues - System Design & Architecture - UNIX/Linux OS (RHEL, SLES, AIX, Solaris) administration, upgrades and patch management. - Storage & File system management - Installation, maintenance and configuration of network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, etc.) - System and network security administration - LDAP administration. - Knowledge of Scripting (PERL, ksh, bash, etc.) - A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing and client/server programming - Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to customers or client audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management. - Guides and assists clients in defining client needs. - Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes. * Thanks & Regards....
