Positions: 2* *Experience Level/Designation: 8+ Yrs* *Type of hire: Fulltime* *Desired start date: March 15th 2012* *Must Have Skills: We need Business Analyst with expertise in Data Warehousing experience, strong Data Mapping and strong Banking experience*. ** *JOB REQUIREMENTS* - *7 - 10 + years experience desired. * - *Expertise with data warehousing and on requirements gathering process. * - *S/he should have in-depth knowledge of banking, finance and Capital Markets*. - *Experience working with gathering data to feed data warehouse and depth of understanding in data quality, data profiling and metadata.* - A bachelor’s degree - *Minimum 7 years of IT experience with particular focus in data warehousing, reporting and financial modeling* - Strong analytical skills and ability to think out of the box - Work with the Business team to understand and document requirements - Proactively reach out to source systems to understand their data and be able to articulate our data needs - *Develop requirements for the data needs of the system* - Work with source systems to capture nuances in their system and processing environment - Understand current technical architecture to turn business requirements into functional specifications - Work with development team to understand requirements - Document and execute test plans, cases and scripts - *Liaison with Enterprise Data Architecture group to define data model* - Excellent interpersonal skills; strong presentation and communication skills. - *Knowledge of relational database technology. (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)* - Familiarity with Windows, Word, Excel and Access - Experience with SQL development - *Strong data warehousing experience* - *Knowledge of metadata, data quality and data profiling.* - Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects of different scope and complexity simultaneously - Knowledge of big picture as well as detailed technical skills *Project Details:* The initiative is about building a data warehouse solution for Asset Labiality management product implementation.
