ROLE: MySQL DBA
Location : Los Angeles, CA

Role: DBA
Required:
Must be familiar with standard database administration
tasks (e.g. performing backups, exports, imports, replication
configuration, etc)
- Experience with high transaction volume environments
- Experience with Entity-Attribute-Value models or open schemas
- Experience maintaining data integrity by developing complex
constraints and triggers
- Experience with MySQL high availability strategies
(read/write separation, MMM, etc)
- Experience with data versioning strategies
• Must be familiar working in development teams to analyze and
optimize queries and data access
• Must be familiar with optimizing MySQL configurations for
various applications
• Must be able to implement proactive monitoring of MySQL
solution to identify events before they become issues
• Must be able to do detailed data related post incident analysis
Strong background with LAMP based configurations
• Must be able to provide future state visions and
recommendations for MySQL and data storage
Desired:
- Experience with Magento data schema and queries
- Experience with MySQL stored procedures
Proficient with disaster recovery and high availability
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and strategies
