Title:Security Analyst Location: Plano, TX Duration: 7 months Job Description: Responds to Security Plan Service Requests that are generated by Project Managers using McAfee's internal request management systems. Prepares materials and coordinates meetings with technical and business stakeholders (and third-party vendors when necessary) to articulate the security plan development process. Setup new plans in the Agiliance GRC Portal System. Monitors the workflow status of all registered security plans. Responds to stakeholders security plan process inquiries. Evaluates security plans in the workflow process and documents observations in the system. Follows up with technical or business stakeholders to determine plan status or to request additional information. When necessary, conducts plan development working sessions with technical or business stakeholders to facilitate plan development. Reviews the company's Project Management Application to attain supporting information for security plan development. Utilizes the company's Intranet site to secure security plan supporting documents (architecture, SLAs, business requirments, contracts, test results, etc.) Informs Global Security Services stakeholders when security plans identify potential vulnerabilities that may jeopardize a project rollout resulting in company financial or reputational impact. Collaborate with architecture experts to understand potential system risks and to discuss mitigation strategies. Create system exports to review overall plan status and statistics. Report security plan status to management stakeholders on a weekly basis. Opens archived plans to append updates or new documentation when necessary. Perform system GRC Portal System QA testing and document results after upgrades or patches are applied.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent business experience. Familiarity with ISO 27001 security concepts. 3+ years related business experience. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio.Demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving acumen, and an understanding of project management concepts. Strong communication and writing skills, including the ability to effectively interact with an international, diverse audience. Conceptual understanding of operating systems, relational databases, network configuration, client/server technology, business data processing, transactional processing systems, mission critical systems. Ability to review and evaluate system architecture diagrams.
