*Job Description:*
*Develop, implement and maintain procedures to ensure a reliable and secure
production environment. Determine and implement solutions with speed and
accuracy. Work with vendors and ITS staff in resolving problems.*
*Prepare project plans identifying tasks to be performed, task owners, time
lines, and milestones. Submit weekly status reports and attend project
status meetings as required.*
*Develop programs and scripts to automate tasks and monitor systems*
*Responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and on-going
maintenance of software on Windows, UNIX/Linux environment. *
*Establish procedures and standards for disaster recovery. *
*Evaluate various hardware and software solutions to meet business
requirements. Develop procedures for implementation of new hardware and
software.*
*Design, plan and implement software deployments, migrations and upgrades
maximizing security, management and support.*
*Document systems, processes and procedures for AIG and production control
staff. Transfer information to Computer Operations group for supporting
production systems.*
*
*
*Required:*
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or science,
or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least
6 years of experience performing Web administration tasks.*
*Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Apache/IHS web server
administration (defining virtual hosts, SSL certificates, access
permissions, load balancing). *
*Experience with content management software especially Drupal (Install,
maintain, patch).*
*Demonstrated expertise with trouble shooting web applications on
Linux/Windows.*
*Demonstrated understanding of security concepts in a web environment and
experience writing UNIX shell scripts. Demonstrated experience with load
balancing products such as F5. *
*Must be able to provide 24x7 on call support as assigned.*
*Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to interact
with others in a consistently positive manner, exercising discretion and
tact.*
*Excellent oral communications skills which demonstrate the ability to
effectively convey and explain information, liaise with vendors and
tactfully deal with diverse people, situations and ideas.*
*Excellent written communications skills which demonstrate the ability to
draft clear, concise specifications, documentation and reports.*
*Strong analytical skills as demonstrated by the ability to draw
conclusions in a logical, systematic way.*
*Demonstrated ability to plan assignments and monitor performance according
to priorities as demonstrated by regularly meeting established deadlines. *
*Demonstrated ability to perform competently under pressure, handling
interruptions and changes without losing productivity.*
