Symantec/Vontu DLP Consultant – 5+ month contract located in Torrance, CA
(near LA)
Looking to interview/start immediately! Prefer local candidates but may be
open to traveling a resource
*Description: *
Looking to engage a senior level Symantec Vontu DLP resource for a 6 month
project
*Required Skills:*
5+ years of complex IT security consulting experience
2+ years with Symantec Vontu DLP
1+ Symantec Vontu DLP roll out
*Objectives:*
The overall goal of this engagement is to provide comprehensive Data Loss
Prevention (DLP) integration and deployment services along with technical
guidance and oversight in an effort to identify the following:
Engagement Management
Implementation and Deployment support and guidance
Business Enablement Consulting
Architectural-level examination of the enterprise
environment
Assess current state of data security
Focus on industry best practices and applicable regulations
(e.g., PCI, ISO, SOX)
Additional Focus on Intellectual Property (Formulas)
Identify potential enterprise risks and exposures
Propose opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
with regard to sensitive data
Protect employee, customer and business partner data that
is stored and used within the secure environment
Recommend strategy and architecture next steps
System Health Checks or Enterprise environment tune ups
