Position : *Oracle Database developer* Location : *Austin, TX* Duration : *2 year* *Rate :$50/hr on C2C AIn*** *phone screen as well as an onsite/Skype interview.*** * * *JOB DESCRIPTION**:* The candidate will be responsible for data integration and transformations from the corporate data warehouse into Oracle databases, including the design (schema, objects and load processes), documentation and support. They should be able to follow established Software Development methodology to develop new integrations and enhancements to existing integrations. They should be able to execute projects according to established businesses process including testing, performing root cause analysis, and debugging processes to resolve the issues. The candidate should be able to handle complex analysis with little supervision and develop actionable recommendations based upon the analysis performed. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Work with the pricing and corporate data warehouse teams to ensure that the proper data is identified and transformed into a usable format for the pricing application. Responsible for designing the queries and transformation processes to support pricing integrations. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the integration process including the databases objects used to support the integration. Responsible for problem escalation to the team, Oracle DBAs or Corporate Database personnel as appropriate. Develops and implements strategies to translate business requirements into feasible designs. *SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:* Oracle Database (10g / 11g) experience. Proficient in SQL / PL SQL. Experience working with multiple RDBMS systems - Oracle, SQL Server and Teradata. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Performance Tuning Experience Experience writing Functions and Procedures in SQL Server and Oracle Experience with SSIS Good communication skills. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
