Position : *Data Modeler/Teradata Application DBA * Location : *Dublin oh* Duration : *3+ Months* * * *MUST HAVES:* 1. Strong Communication skills 2. Data modeling 3. Experience in Teradata *SKILLS:* · Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills. · In depth understanding of data warehousing, database design, data architecture, master data management, ODS, OLTP and data integration concepts. · High proficiency in data modeling skills and adeptness in creating Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for OLTP / analytical systems and canonical models for master data. · Expertise in data modeling tools such as Power Designer and Erwin. · Strong experience in Kimball and Inmon Data Warehouse design methodologies. · Previous / Current experience as application DBA in Teradata with special emphasis on database design and performance tuning. · Experience in metadata management in IBM INFOSPHERE is a plus. Candidate should at least have a bachelor’s degree. *DESCRIPTION OF WORK:* Candidate will be responsible to create Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for OLTP and analytical systems using Sybase Power Designer data modeling tool. Candidate will be responsible for database design, database scripts, and query tuning on databases such as Teradata and DB2.
