Position                                : *Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)
Developer/ Data Warehousing*

*Duties:*

·         The Oracle Warehouse (OWB) Developer will be responsible to
maintain and enhance Business Intelligence systems for creating,
converting, and securing and managing data flow into the data warehouse
system. This is a critical role and candidate must have experience in ETL
(Extraction, Transformation, and Loading)process of OWB to support channel
applications and enterprise integration of data. The successful candidate
should be able to demonstrate lead level capabilities to Develop & Support
ETL process, problem solving, and data analysis.

·         This position will be responsible for creation of ETL maps,
Migrations into different environments, Maintenance and Monitoring of the
infrastructure, working with DBA’s as well as creation of new reports to
assist executive and managerial levels within EOLWD in analyzing the
business needs to target the customers. The candidate must be
self-starting, have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and able to
fill multiple roles within the Oracle environment.



*Qualifications:*

·         Minimum 7 plus years hands on experience in Knowledge of Data
Warehousing such as dimensional modeling, Star and Snowflake schemas, Data
mart and Fact, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions -Type I & II &
III.

·         *5 years experience with OWB 11g or OWB 11gR2*. Candidate should
be fully proficient in writing scalable, high volume ETL jobs using SQL for
large volume data warehouses.

·         Solid Experience in OWB, Oracle 11g and PL/SQL is a must.
Experience in OMB plus oracle scripts is plus.

·         Design and develop the architecture for all data warehousing
components (e.g. source system data ETL strategy, data staging, movement
and aggregation; information and analytics delivery; and data quality
strategy)

·         Setting up, debugging and implementing end-to-end ETL jobs. Do
performance tuning of OWBETL Mappings. Develop unit, system, and
integration test plans

·         Ability to analyze existing database schema DDL/Instance layout
and make changes where required.



·         *Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:*
Design and implement OWB Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes,
programs and scripts. Design of data warehouse tables, including source to
target mappings, configuration of OWB, mdl migrations…etc.

·         Develop and document the OWB ETL process. Help in Creation and
maintenance of the source to Client data mappings, ETL specifications and
complex transformation rule sand technical documentation.

·         Strong development experience in OWB, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Must
have the ability to write Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages. Support
testing, deployment and ongoing support of data warehouse system.

·         Knowledge of database indexing and tuning in Oracle Database.
Ability to interpret requirements and technical specifications and
translate them into visual representations of information.

·         Assisting developing and publishing data management standards,
policies and procedures, including the management and maintenance of
related tools and environments. Collaborate with Oracle Database
Administrators for the Warehouse database design, data model, storage,
security, performance and data environment requirements.

·         Perform maintenance and support of existing applications.
Establish, Maintain and Adhere to ETL and Data Integration Standards.

·         Participate in peer reviews on specifications, design and code.
Validate the data in the database and also responsible for testing the
routines developed. Work closely with QA and Operations to ensure smooth QA
and deployment of applications. Work with project teams to plan integration
and implementation strategies.

·         Experience performing Unit, Functional, Regression, Integration
and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

·         Should have strong verbal and written skills
