Responsibilities include understanding business requirements, analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and support of enterprise reporting services and data warehouse. The BI Developer must comply with and support all aspects of projects plans, department standards and guidelines. Additionally, the Business Intelligence Developer will serve as technical expert and consultant to other groups within IT and the user community. *Essential duties and responsibilities:* Assesses business needs and develops plans for delivery of information that best meet the needs of the customer. Work within the BI team to foster a BI environment that fits enterprise and best practice requirements. Design of intermediate and final structures in Relational database, multidimensional database and BI tools Write SQL code and SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data. Designs and develops Reports/dashboards using SSRS and SSAS Supports data extractions by end-users from Relational and multidimensional structures Knowledge of mappings from source tables to destination tables. Maintain development plans, project scope on-time delivery, and completion within budget. Controlling and monitoring project progress, risks, remediation, change management processes, communicating status to appropriate stakeholders, and closing out projects. Interact heavily with different levels within the organization, as well as establish and maintain customer relationships. Reviews technical literature, attends meetings and training opportunities, and keeps-up-to-date on emerging technologies related to information systems and their proper use. Maintain metadata repository current with data definitions, relationships, hints, lineage and sources. Must be detail oriented with good organization, verbal, and people skills, service-oriented and a team player.
