Send resume here: [email protected] *[FullTime]* * * *Job Title: ETL (SSIS) Consultant/ ETL Developer* *Salary: Open as per Market* *Start Date – Sep 04 2012* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Participate in gathering business requirements, analysis of source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements. • Prepare Technical Design / Specifications, and develop routines for data extraction and loading. • Analyze and determine the impact of technology capabilities and limitations, translate high level design to detailed design specifications, develop, test and deploy code/application in various environments. • Perform effort estimation for various Data Warehouse activities; meet project deliverables as per requirements, on time within budgets. • Development and performance improvements of complex queries Desired Skills & Experience • B.E/B.Tech/MCA or graduate in Science or Mathematics • At least 5 years’ experience in SSIS development, Data analysis, and ETL • Must have extensive knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services 2008 and above. • Excellent working knowledge of SSIS integration with DB2, Oracle and SQL Server • Expertise in writing Complex Stored Procedures, Queries, Views and Triggers • Good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (Integration, Migration and Data Cleansing)and Data Modeling • Should have developed reasonably complex SSIS packages involving disparate data sources • Strong expertise on developing Task/Transformation using Control Flow, Data Flow • Have implemented Logging, Error Handling, Transactions in ETL Packages • Expertise on Debugging/Optimizing/Deploying SSIS Packages • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide creative solutions. Specific Knowledge • Experience in ETL code deployment, migration and governance of standards • Support change control and testing processes for modifications to data transformation/transfer systems • Demonstrate quality and productivity by efficient development techniques, standards and guidelines. • Capability of performance tuning of SQL queries would be an added advantage • Experience interpreting and understanding multidimensional and normalized data models • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities • Extensive knowledge in Data warehouse designing techniques like Star Schema/ Snowflake.
