Worth, TX* *Duration – **24+ Months Contract (Contract will be revised on the basis of performance)* *Positions Requested –** 2* *Contract to Hire: No* *In Person Interview Required ( Skype)* *Job Description:* This position is a Load Balancing Engineer with hands-on experience with F5 BigIP GTM and LTM devices and/or Citrix NetScaler. This highly dynamic position will interact with application teams from across Client to create a load balancing solution unique to their application requirements. A typical internal engagement takes about two weeks each, with several running in parallel per engineer. While load balancing patterns are standardized, each application requires individual attention and knowledge. *Education/Experience: * Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field preferred, equivalent experience is acceptable 7+ years IT experience required, minimum 4 years in Load Balancing technology *Responsibility level: * Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Coordinates multiple managed service providers using standardized engagements to complete work in Production environments Interacts with multiple internal application teams to create customized load balancing solutions. *Skills: * Load balancing technology including algorithms and health check options F5 BigIP GTM Wide IP configuration F5 BigIP LTM VIP configuration with health check F5 BigIP iRule programming and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler VIP configuration with health check Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time Expert mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue *Skills:* DNS * and 4+ Yrs. F5 Load Balancing and 4+ Yrs. NetScaler and 3+ Yrs.
