*I need a Database Developer/DBA in Memphis 11 Months Contract* *Rate $40.$42 on CTC MAX* Summary for the Senior Database Administrator: • Responsible for coordinating changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. • Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database. Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, math or related field • • 5+ years data processing experience, including o 3 years systems development experience and o 2 years DBA experience or 2 years of data administration experience• • Experience in database design and database programming or data/object administration Skills and Competencies for the Senior Database Administrator:• • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills • • Ability to work independently and manage time • • Knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:• • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications• • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes• • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions • • Perform other duties as assigned Candidates for the Senior Database Administrator position should be prepared to pass onboard screening of background check and drug test.
