Must have 6+ years of Production support experience with Java Middleware Stack with Linux system Engineering exposure. . Linux/Unix scripting/good system knowledge (must be familiar with commands, scripting, system/process/job monitoring commands, commands to trouble application related issues - open files, stopping/re-starting jobs, etc.). Skills needed for application support. . Understanding of Memory management, storage management, performance/scalability in Java/J2EE applications . Good experience in deploying middleware applications on to Apache Tomcat servers, etc. (Experience in Installation/Configuration of these servers will be a big PLUS !!) . Experience in Mule (Optional) . Experience in deploying Java based applications/middleware components on to production/other environments . Troubleshooting Java/J2EE based applications and database components . Working experience in using monitoring and log analysis/management tools like Wily & Splunk (if they have experience in configuring these tools that will be a big PLUS!!)
