*Work Location*: Oaks, PA** *Duration : 1 year * *Primary Role * : - Interact with technical teams for gathering performance requirements. - Performance tuning using AWR ,Explain Plan, SQL*Trace, TKPROF - Scripting using PL/SQL - Export/import of data. - Resolving deadlocks & contention issues. - Rebuilding indexes when needed to avoid fragmentation and improve performance, monitoring index usage and removing unused indexes - Load Runner scripting and execution *Required Skills * : - Experience in Performance Tuning using *TKPROF, AWR, SQL Profiler, *Explain plan, SQL Trace. - Experience in Oracle *AWR report* generation. - Experience in Oracle *PLSQL programming *language. - Working knowledge of Load Runner is a plus - Experience in installing, maintaining ,upgrading and patching Oracle versions 11g/10g/9i/8i - Experience in the investment management &/or transaction processing domain. - Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and presentation skills with ability to co-ordinate activities in a fast paced team environment.
