*Duration : 6-months to perm*** *Phone then F2F*** Responsibilities Work with business team, project managers, and systems analysts to review business requirements, functional specifications, use-cases, and test plans Participate in architecture, design, development, and implementation of new software components and applications based on functional specifications. Work with other software engineers to design and implement application features, including user interfaces, and business functionality enhancements. Author technical design and support documentation Keys To The Position 1. Technical: Seeking a strong software engineer with SQL and Java skills. 2. Java: We are seeking a front and back end Java developer. The technical requirements include Java/J2EE, JMS or MQ, JDBC. EXTJS is a nice to have. 3. Database programming: SQL is required. PL/SQL is a nice to have. 4. Financial Services is a plus. Experience with Pricing Systems or Investment Data is a plus. 5. Leadership: Opportunity for growth into a leadership position. Qualifications 3+ years of demonstrated database development and architecture experience 3+ years demonstrated experience developing J2EE applications using JDBC, JNDI, JMS, Swing and/or Web applications using JSP, SPRING, Web Services Experience with PERL, XML, UNIX/Linux, Grails and ExtJS helpful.
